ABOUT

Founded in 2015 by Gina Esposito, Nu Swim is a New York based swimwear and lifestyle brand that crafts pieces that favor construction, materials and simplicity. Their aim is to create sustainable, timeless pieces made with regenerated synthetics (swim) and natural (non-swim) materials that can be worn as an uncomplicated second skin. They don’t believe in swimming seasons, and hope their customers create some sort of adventure in finding a place to swim, no matter the time of year. In 2015 their initial collection was based on four swim basics, the Straight One Piece, Basic High Bottom, Basic Low Bottom & Straight Top. In their four years of operation, they have expanded to include more styles that flatter different shapes and offer maximum comfort in a range of swimming situations. Pieces for lounging on the beach, powering through a lap swim and some that function for both. To them, their swimwear is created for more than swimming – they find themselves layering their one pieces, tops and bottoms under just about everything.
