Founded in 2018, Foundationals is a fashion brand with the goal of improving the current state of the industry by producing fashion-forward styles with sustainable textiles and ethical labor. The fashion industry is notorious for the mass pollution of waterways. Toxic chemicals, pesticides and large amounts of water are typically used to produce conventional textiles on the market. So, things have gotten pretty serious. By 2050, the fashion industry is also expected to be responsible for 20% of the world’s carbon emissions. Yup, not so cute after all. They’re here to take care of this, and make you great quality, stylish clothes using some of the most circular and sustainable textiles available in the world – sans the nasties. That’s their promise.
